'Peter joined the army in 1973. His first tour of Northern Ireland (based in Ballymurphy) was in 1974 as he turned eighteen years old. His next two tours in 1976 and 1978 were based in Creggan. Peter's final tour was based in Ballykelly from 1982 to 1894. In December 1982 he was at a disco in the Droppin' Well Bar in Ballykelly when an INLA bomb exploded, killing seventeen people. Compiled form questionnaire and correspondence, December 1997 to June 1998.' (from page 91 in the book)
