The Accounts of the Conflict team has contributed to a new online resource which addresses the past in Northern Ireland. “The Legacy” is a new project by the award winning investigative journalism multimedia site thedetail.tv. The Legacy sheds light on controversies created by decades of violence, examines the social impact of the conflict and looks beyond divisions to learn from international experience.
The Accounts of the Conflict team writes about the importance of oral history and archiving in dealing with the past, while also outlining the aims of the project and how we’re progressing at present. You can read the article by clicking here.
Research Associate at University of Ulster (INCORE)
Dr Adrian Grant is a Research Associate on the Accounts of the Conflict project at INCORE. He holds a BA and PhD from the University of Ulster and an MA from the University of Liverpool.
