The Conference is a showcase event of the \u2018Accounts of the Conflict\u2019 project at INCORE based in the University of Ulster, which is building a digital archive for the long-term preservation and dissemination of stories related to the conflict in, and about, Northern Ireland. The PEACE III Programme, funded though the European Regional Development Fund, is worth \u20ac333 million and is aimed primarily at reinforcing progress towards a peaceful and stable society and promoting reconciliation.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-35 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/accounts.ulster.ac.uk\/accounts\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/eu-colour-r.jpg\" alt=\"eu-colour-r\" width=\"225\" height=\"74\" \/>It focuses on helping Northern Ireland and the Border Region of Ireland to reconcile communities and contribute towards a shared society.
