Jim Arbuckle gives an account of growing up in a large Protestant family in Londonderry and how he became a teacher for 25 years. He also describes how he then became an Education Officer for UNICEF in Northern Ireland and later worked as a Community Relations Facilitator with Towards Understanding and Healing (TUH) in Londonderry. It was through his work at TUH that he became involved with Smashing Times Theatre Company.

A film made by Northern Visions to accompany a study of the lived experiences of the those injured as a result of the Troubles in Northern Ireland. The film was commissioned by WAVE Trauma Centre with financial assistance provided by the Northern Ireland Community Relations Council.
