Since its inception in 1992, The Playhouse has won many awards for its valuable community work and has built up a network of practicing artists who work around the globe in countries emerging from civil wars, genocides, and conflicts. They firmly believe that the arts have an important role to play in the current Peace Process, for the purposes of communication, understanding, creating empathy and healing.
