Oran was on a student trip from Buncrana to Omagh which took place as part of an exchange with Spanish students. Oran died with two other children from Buncrana, James Barker and Sean McLaughlin (whose parents are also interviewed in this book), along with the Spanish schoolboy Fernando Blasco Baselga (12), and one of the Spanish organisers, Racio Abad Ramos (23)." Bridie talks openly about Jolene and has had a CD of songs performed by Loreto Grammer School made as a tribute. She gives me a copy of the CD to keep and we talk over tea for an hour about Jolene, the bomb and the aftermath. Bridie has another daughter, Nikki, who was seriously injured in the bomb." "I interview Godfrey at his bungalow in Omagh. His wife Ann stays in the kitchen unable to talk about the loss of their daughter Lorraine (15). I sit with Godfrey in his living room which is decorated with photographs. Lorraine can be seen horse-riding in one of the photographs. She looks confident and happy. The interview is punctuated with a number of pauses as the recollections continue to upset Godfrey. His youngest son also comes into the room and listens to what Godfrey has to say." Spencer, G.
