"In this story Billy, in his capacity as a trade union official, recalls being asked to remove a paramilitary recruitment poster from a workplace. Although scared of the possible outcome, Billy and his colleague believed they had to do it. Despite their fear, many of the work force from both traditions thanked Billy for taking this action. This event took place in the 1980s." (Up Standing: Educators Guide, p.22)
