One of 100 edited versions of oral interviews compiled as part of the Borderlines Project. The project was carried out by the Borderlines Team which also produced a collection of photographs that formed part of the overall archive. The project produced a travelling exhibition and a book also entitled 'Borderlines'. The personal accounts reproduced in the book record peoples' experiences of life along the border between the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Borderlines was a Gallery of Photography (Dublin) project, organised in collaboration with Dara Training and Consultancy.
Jim Dixon gives an account of running a family business during the worst years of the conflict. Jim also relates how he was severely injured in the Enniskillen bomb on 8 November 1987.
