'Jimmy Johnson, a veteran of Aden, served two tours of Northern Ireland; a four month tour based in Lurgan in 1972, and a 12 month tour based in Omagh in 1973. Jimmy is currently serving two life sentences for murders committed in England. Jimmy has been diagnosed as suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and is attempting to gather information on other former soldiers who are similarly affected. The following are extracts from an unpublished manuscript Their Country's Reward, written by Jimmy in prison in Durham, 1992.' (from page 36 in the book)
